updates (i updated the update)

we had a big weekend. we traveled to greenville to throw a surprise baby shower for my sister-n-law, julie. she is due in august with her first little girl. she has two boys; so the idea of her having a girl is really awesome. and i think it's finally sinking in with her that she's going to get to see pink clothes in her house that aren't just hers. it's great :) and then yesterday, loralai had her four month checkup. wheew, shots. i hate those things. and today loralai is running a fever. so please lift her up in prayer for healing from the fever. and pray for me -it rattles my nerves thinking about her having a fever. now, that all said, here are some pictures from the weekend.

i meant to add: loralai has grown 2 3/4 inches and now weighs 16 pounds. the pediatrician said: she's the size of an average 6 month old. oh how proud we are ;) ha. i love it. we prayed for a hardy baby when i was pregnant - when she was born, i knew that it was God's will for little miss loralai to be just that: hardy. and she's continued to grow so strong. and God bless breast milk. it's like honey flowing straight from Heaven :)
