i've decided that the reason babies have chubby cheeks is so that they can sleep easier in cars. because their heads droop when they sleep, they need a soft place to land. and i mean really, how many kinks would a baby have in her neck if she didn't have such chubby cheeks to hold the head up? i love it.
.snoozin' on the ride home.so here are a few pictures from our trip to raleigh this weekend. we went to visit todd's family...to celebrate an early father's day, his parents' 40th wedding anniversary and his older sister's baby shower for her twin girls that she'll have in a few weeks. it was a fun weekend filled with lots of family.

If I ever just want to SMILE...this is where I come. She is a real smile generator. My lips can't help but curl up when I see her smiling face, and yes, chubby, dimpled cheeks.
I just LOVE this little girl already! I MUST get my hands on those cheeks, that have a dual purpose...not only are they to serve as pillows for car sleeping, but they are 100% pure sugar made for kiss, kiss, kissing!! Give her a few big ones for me! She's soooooo beautiful, Ashley!
yea. it was great seeing you all this past weekend. it's good to hear yall are recovering well too.
she is gorgeous. i can't get over those eyebrows -- i'm jealous of how perfect they are!
